Some say the perception of happiness is based on social and environmental factors. Others say one’s thinking ultimately dictates his or her sense of happiness. But what about genetics? Could we be biologically wired for happiness?
Inventor, engineer and author James D. Baird, Ph.D. has researched the subject of happiness for more than twenty years. From his research evolved the idea that humans have a spiritual nature and that faith is genetic. In his book Happiness Genes: Unlock the Positive Potential In Your DNA, Baird and co-author Laurie Nadel illustrate how the expression of spirituality is genetically motivated, resulting in natural happiness.
