Personal Transformative Coaching
As CEO of Sustainable Change Consulting Group, my human potential work is focused on organizations and business management consulting. I work with only a few individual clients during any given year.
My role as your coach is creating with you a deep, substantial and lasting experience of what it is for you to be yourself and feel alive. From the moment we begin our work until long after we've completed our time together, our aim is that you reconnect with your natural potential, come to understand the role of state of mind in your life and that you come to use this new understanding of the human mind to continue to grow and thrive regardless of what happens around you.

What the personal coaching relationship looks like
Coaching takes place over the phone and/or in person and I have clients all over the world. I ask clients to begin a year of coaching with a 3-day intensive with me in San Diego, California and to complete their time with a 2-day retreat at the end. The form that coaching relationship takes varies, but I recommend a year-long commitment. There is huge benefit to you in sustaining a deep and extended conversation about what's important to you. In doing so you are creating for yourself the opportunity not only to learn but to take your insights back into your life week after week — watching them grow until you are standing on a brand new foundation from which to move forward for the rest of your life.
Coaching is the greatest investment you will ever make in the one thing that matters: you.

When You Book an Exploratory Session
Please understand that an exploratory session* is not a sales pitch.
This is time we set aside together to talk about what occurs over the course of a transformative relationship, to get to know one another, for you to experience what it's like to work with me, and to make space for any and all questions. You may or may not have an issue you'd like to bring. In preparation, you may wish to follow the suggested bullet-points here.
In our session we make the time to explore. You will set aside a couple of hours for this. We talk about what's best for you ... and we have a full conversation about what's on your mind or what's up in your world -- including why you want coaching. You, in turn, will get a feel for what a transformative coaching conversation is like and what it is like specifically, with me.
Some people have particular life "issues" or challenges they are facing. Others come to coaching because they have reached a plateau and just want more aliveness in life. Some even come not knowing if they really want coaching at all. It is fine to want to just find out more about coaching, what it is and how it works. If you and I coaching together is not right, we will know, and I will be happy to refer you, if you wish.
